Virgin Mary: Type, Emblems of Immaculate Conception -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, wearing white garment, with joined hands, stands in rayed mandorla. Above, God as half-figure, nimbed, wearing triple-crowned papal tiara, emanating rays in aureole, raises right hand in blessing and holds cross-surmounted globe in left hand, above scroll inscribed, TOTA PVLCRA ES AMICA MEA ET MACULA, from Song of Solomon 4:7, in cloudy arc of heaven.
The Virgin is flanked by fifteen emblems of her Immaculate Conception, each with inscribed scroll.
