2015 Deerhurst Lecture
The 2015 Deerhurst Lecture will take place on
Saturday 12th September 2015 at 7.30 pm at St Mary?s Church, Deerhurst, Gloucestershire. Normally the lecture is given on a topic concerning the early medieval period, but this year we are venturing after the Reformation to
consider Deerhurst?s other claim to fame. The lecture will be given by Trevor Cooper, chairman of the Ecclesiological Society, under the title of ?The post-Reformation chancel fittings at Deerhurst: a unique survival?.
