Albanian Metalwork

Helmet of George Castriota; called Scanderbeg, Prince of Albania. Scanderbeg, Albania. 1405-1468

Goblet, Avar or Byzantine, 8th century. Gold-wrought sheet, repoussé and strip-molding. Found near Vrap, district of Pekinje, Albania in 1902, currently in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
