Medieval History
Ta-Da! (Podcast Edition)
Due to some technical difficulties, the podcast for the 1st event in the lecture series "Crusades, Then & Now," a talk by Prof. Gregory Bell (Duke) on "The Experience of the First Crusade," brought to you by Medieval & Early Modern Studies at Virginia Tech, was NOT a success. Practice, however, makes perfect.
So, it's my pleasure to announce that now available for your listening pleasure, Prof. Jay Rubenstein (UT-Knoxville) speaking on "The First Crusade and the Origins of Europe." It was a well-attended event, with an excellent, provactive presentation, followed by good questions from the audience. Have a listen.
